Sphere of Light Meditation
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down. Try finding a position that you can comfortably maintain for 10 – 15 minutes.
Close your eyes and breath slowly, 20 rhythmic connected breaths.
Leave all your worries behind. Imagine that they slowly fade away. Each time a thought pops up, imagine them on a school board and wipe them away with ease. Or try to imagine a soap bell with the thoughts inside that you easily blow away.
Relax your body. Feel that you become more and more serene, calm and tranquil. Travel in your thoughts to each body part and relax them, just like you did in the body scan exercise.
Imagine a sphere of white light around you from any size, shape and brightness. Play with it, making it bigger and smaller until it feels exactly right.
When you are totally relaxed and ready to come back, slowly bring your awareness back to the room. Enjoy this pure, calm and relaxed state of Being, open your eyes and feel refreshed and ready to continue with your day.
